bad religion

i saw bad religion at the max bell centre. bad religion was as impressive as ever, unfortunately the show just wasn't as good as the edmonton show i went to last year. first of all the crowd was a weird mix of psuedo-punk rock kids, bangers, geeks, and sluts in tight fitting halter tops ( not that i have any problem with this last group being at a punk rock show). the sound system at the max bell centre was also a sub standard setup as compared with the setup in edmonton. what i did enjoy about the show was the fact that bad religion played a lot of their older stuff (circa the 80's). getting there a little late we missed seeing belvedere. we did however catch the two other opening acts, loudmouth and strung out, neither really impressed me. another nice turn of events was the fact that i got to run into jared sych who was taking photo's for himself and the straight. later on in the show he had two rolls of film confiscated by security due to the fact that he was shooting when he shouldn't have.

note: for those of you who think you can wear loose fitting shoes to a big rock show and still have both of them on your feet by the middle of the show, think again. luckily i was able to locate my missing footwear amongst the pile of debris at the end of the show.
