i finally decided to write a proper one of these things so people who have never met me in person (ie: stalkers, web-geeks and inmates with access to a computer) can get to know just a little bit more about me. i was born danniel colin graham because my mother couldn't spell the name daniel "correctly", it works out pretty well though. i was born in saskatoon saskatchewan, moved to calgary, alberta when i was five, spent a year in cochrane (just south of hell) and moved to vancouver in 2001. i now reside in north vancouver (with lara), the rainiest part of the greater vancouver area which also has the largest number of skateparks per area in canada as far as i know. while i lived in calgary i managed to get a bachelors degree in photography. i also learned how to skateboard and snowboard, and even raced mountain bikes for a while. i also played for the bowness community softball team while i was young - my dad coached us for a while(anyone not familiar with bowness should go out and find a banger or biker and get them to punch you right in the teeth. then you'll know what the heck it's all about). when we started out we didn't even have uniforms. after moving out to vancouver i spent most of my time skating the snake runs, and ended up working in west van as a bike mechanic. i also quit mountain biking and took up bmx (this has all but eliminated my skateboarding), in the winter i hit the pipe up on seymour. this year i'll probably enter some of the pipe competitions - if only for the door prizes. i also like punk rock - not the wussed out "i have blue hair so i'm punk" crap pop music that you see on television, i'm talking about the misfits (w/danzig), black flag, minor threat, exploited, crass, etc. for anyone not familiar with punk rock i suggest that you go out, find henry rollins or ian mackaye and get them to punch you in the teeth. then you'll know what the heck it's all about.
